あらすじ

This promotional film establishes Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture, as a “Sustainable Destination” brand while inspiring visitation from “Intellectual Travelers” centered in Western markets.
Beyond conventional destination promotion, we meticulously crafted both visual direction and sound design to enable viewers to virtually experience “staying in Ozu.” Visually, we combined objective landscape beauty with subjective point-of-view (POV) camerawork that recreates the traveler’s perspective, generating profound immersion—making viewers feel as though they are physically walking through the location, even through a screen.
For sound design, alongside background music, we prioritized ambient audio recorded on location: early morning silence, wind chimes’ tones, the Hiji River’s murmur, crackling firewood. By enabling viewers to experience through all senses the “atmosphere” and “historical context” that the filmmaker felt firsthand, we deeply engage our target audience’s travel aspirations.
