第７回日本国際観光映像祭のテーマは「森と人々、美しき暮らしの継承へ」でした。このテーマに合わせて今年の映像祭を進行しました。また、受賞した方々、ファイナリストになった方々、オフィシャルセレクションに選ばれた方々、おめでとうございました。
The theme of the 7th Japan International Tourism Film Festival was “Forests and People: Toward the Inheritance of a Beautiful Harmony.” This year’s festival was organized in line with this theme. Congratulations to all the award winners, finalists, and those selected for the official selection.
Japanese Fan, Trophy of JWTFF2025
国際部門において受賞された方々にはトロフィーを用意しました。一つは、第５回日本国際観光映像祭でも採用した扇子です。この扇子は滋賀県高島市でつくられているものです。日本中に多くの扇子がありますが、扇子の骨の95%は高島市でつくられています。この扇子については、かつて紹介する映像をつくっているので、紹介します。扇子はグランプリ、ゴールド、シルバーと別々にあります。
For those who received awards in the International Competition, we have prepared special trophies. One of them is the folding fan that was first introduced at the 5th edition of the festival. This fan is made in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture. While folding fans are produced throughout Japan, 95% of the fan ribs are actually made in Takashima. We have previously created a video introducing this fan, which we would like to share with you. There are different versions of the fan prepared for the Grand Prix, Gold, and Silver award winners.
Wooden Block of Machiwa city
次に木材ブロックです。今回の開催地は岡山県真庭市で開催されました。真庭市はその気候条件から良質な木材の産地として知られています。このブロックは真庭の最高級の木材、檜の木を特別に分けてもらい、そこに受賞のタイトルを刻んでいます。扇子と一緒に飾っていただければ、今年の映像祭のテーマにふさわしい展示となることでしょう。
Next is the wooden block. This year’s festival was held in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture. Due to its climate conditions, Maniwa is known as a production area of high-quality timber. For these blocks, we were specially given the finest hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood from Maniwa, and the award titles are engraved on them. Displayed alongside the folding fan, they will make for a fitting representation of this year’s festival theme.

今年の賞状のデザインは、岡山県での開催ということもあり、岡山県立大学の学生、倉持翼さんに作ってもらいました。木材の町としてふさわしいデザインです。倉持さんありがとうございました。
This year’s certificate design was created by Tsubasa Kuramochi, a student at Okayama Prefectural University, in connection with the festival being held in Okayama Prefecture. The design is well-suited to a town known for its timber. Thank you, Kuramochi-san, for your wonderful work.
