Short promotional film to attract international guests to the Songtsam Tibetan chain of Boutique Hotels and the cultural experience of northern Yunnan.

Short promotional video for Tibetan hotel group Songtsam, following their circuit of hotels through northern Yunnan and into Tibet. This stunning region of south west China encompasses breathtaking scenery and unique traditional local cultures. Songtsam are committed to excellence of comfort and travel experience and work closely with the communities and cultures of the remote, beautiful locations where their boutique lodges and hotels are located. The video features additional content shot by Yuden Norbu and Songtsam (in particular drone and timelapse footage). Music by Tim Howle, Rexi Cai Rang Dan and Dechen Shak Dagsay. Aimed at an international audience and online/mobile platform distribution (including versions with Chinese subtitles) it was decided to rely significantly on onscreen subtitles and text rather than a more nuanced voiceover.
